Which ports can I enter through New Zealand with an eTA?
The New Zealand eTA is an electronic visa waiver that allows eligible citizens to visit New Zealand for tourism, business, or transit purposes for up to 90 days. It is required for visitors from countries that have a visa waiver agreement with New Zealand.
With many years of experience and excellent staff, we, New Zealand Travel & e-Visa Services, can help travelers obtain an eTA quickly by completing our application form. Visitors can apply for a visa from any location using only a smart device with an internet connection, such as a phone, tablet, or computer.
Once you have been approved for an eTA, you can enter New Zealand through any of the 12 designated ports of entry. Here is a list of New Zealand ports of entry that foreign nationals can use if they have a valid eTA:
- Auckland International Airport
- Wellington International Airport
- Christchurch International Airport
- Queenstown International Airport
- Dunedin International Airport
- Hamilton International Airport
- Tauranga Airport
- Palmerston North Airport
- Nelson Airport
- Napier Airport
- New Plymouth Airport
- Invercargill Airport
It is important to note that while the eTA allows you to enter New Zealand through any of these ports of entry, you may still be subject to immigration and customs checks upon arrival. Be sure to have all necessary documentation and comply with all entry requirements to ensure a smooth and hassle-free arrival in New Zealand.
